This wheel is great. There are a lot of products on the market. At the time of purchase, I saw a 2 pack wheel set at Meritline for $8.99. Seemed hard to pass up, but typically the stuff from Meritline is not the highest quality. So I opted for the red/blue 2 pack from Amazon for more $$. I like the blue and red and I like the top being open. Aside from aestetics, this is a piece of plastic that holds the Wii controller - no moving parts. It's build solidly and should last a long time.
My kids really stopped using the wheels much because they don't want to hassle with inserting and removing the controllers. I almost bought 2 more, but I know my kids won't use them.

I purchased this item for my grandson for his birthday. What a hit! (I had also bought him the Speed Racer game.) We all had a lot of fun with these wheels. They are very well made and comfortable to use. I would recommend this product to anyone who has a Wii racing game.

If you love using a wheel when playing Mario Kart as I do then you will love these. They are the perfect size and the foam sides are great for gripping and comfort. We have had no problems with the infra-red pass thru allowing communication with the Wii console. I would recommend these without hesitation.

the steering wheels work great, controller works great in the wheel, the strap can stay on the controller, snug fit...great product would recommend for anyone
no B button extension

These wheels are easier for kids to hold. The only flaw is that the B button has no extension like the official Wii wheel. Other than that it works just the same.
