Garmin Nuvi 275/275T 2010-07-07

With one gigantic exception - and I'll get to that in a minute - I'm generally pleased with the Garmin nuvi 275/275T. The real test will be when I take it to Europe and put it in its "walking mode." That was the primary reason I bought it.

Now, to that complaint: The recorded voice is extremely disagreeable and scolding. (I worked in radio for 27 years and know voices.) I'm beginning to believe this voice would get me lost and make no effort to rescue me!

I called Amazon asking if there are other voice options for the 275/275T. Customer service said there were not. Still, they passed me on to Garmin which has yet to respond to an e-mail sent about ten days ago.

This has all the things you need that weren't included with the Nuvi - case, electical charger & other things. Great value, but Garmin really should include a case & electrical charger with the Nuvi.
