Works well, earth-friendly

I bought this cleaner because it is earth-friendly, and I wasn't a fan of the bleach-y or harsh smell of most toilt bowl cleaning products. I wasn't really sure how well this one would work, but it actually works very well. The first time I used this product was on a bowl with several months' worth of hard water deposits, and it worked like a charm. I did let it sit for a little while this particular time, which might have helped, but I don't normally do that with my regular cleaning routine of about once a week. It's been working great, and I have no complaints.
I am happy that I can have a clean toilet bowl without all the harsh smells and environmental unfriendliness that comes with many other such cleaners. I will note that the product is clear, so it can be hard to see where you've put it, but I don't find it that big of a deal--just go once around the bowl, and you're probably good, and once you start brushing it really doesn't matter. It might be slightly more liquid-y than other cleaners, but it's been so long since I've used them that I can't remember (but I don't see a problem with it in either case).
All things considered, I recommend this product as an effective, "green" cleaner.
Good for regular toilet cleaning

I have converted to green products about a year ago. I have tried many products and this product seems to be alright. Seventh generation products in general though green, they have something real about them that seems to get the job done. I must remind everyone that green products work, but they are not as toxic and thus they lose their effect faster than non green products. So, it'll last you a week or so without cleaning, but then you have to put in the muscle and the product.
Great toilet bowl cleaner!

Seventh Generation's toilet bowl cleaner is just like Clorox except it's good for the environment and Seventh Generation does not test on animals! It also doesn't have that strong bleach smell. Yuck! I am a huge animal lover and won't support the companies that test on animals. Well, that leaves me to stop buying from so many companies (Proctor and Gamble, Johnson and Johnson, Kimberly-Clark, Church & Dwight, SC Johnson, Clorox, etc). I love 7th generation and HIGHLY recommend their products. I'll be a customer for life.
Earth friendly, poor quality

Does not remove all stains!! The "clorox green works" works much better and just as earth friendly!!! Cheaper too!
Fantastic product!

We purchased a giant pack of this when Amazon was running a special. A friend had recommended it. It works very, very well (as good as Clorox) in my opinion and doesn't have that harsh chemical smell. It fills your bathroom with a pine smell that doesn't smell like imitation pine such as PineSol. I would highly recommend this to anyone, especially if you have dogs or children.
